Description:

Overview:

The Customer Service Representative is the front line of the Dixie National Forest and educates the public on a variety of information about the forest. The CSR will take phone calls, answer questions and emails, greet public in person when in the office, and help interested users in exploring the wonders of the forest.

Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:00am -4:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Greets customers warmly.
  • Provides information about Forest recreational activities; hiking, biking, hunting, fishing, trail riding, etc.
  • Keeps apprised of any District projects; prescribed fires, timber logging, tree planting, trail work, closed areas, etc.
  • Will become a Certified Collection Officer, will be asked to sell maps, park passes, timber product permits and Smokey Bear Merchandise.
  • Educate the public in a variety of areas.

  • Interested in the Forest Service and serving the public.
  • Accountability and Responsibility is required.
